Outside the walls of stone and brick, the sordid sounds of battle carry on unabated.

The world around me burns to ashes.

I pray in my sanctuary.

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccáta mundi, dona nobis pacem.
Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world: grant us peace.

This is a piece that is supposed to express a plea for peace. It was meant to have a few other details, but I decided to keep it as is. I know it is not much, but it holds a thought.

notice how ppl turn to God in times of a crisis and then carries on with their daily lives as if god had never existed when its over?

i really like the picture. it captures the grandeur of the church. huge and magnificent i would say. how i wish i was there...

A sanctuary doesn't always need lots of glamour or details to be our very own save haven *s* I like how you composed this, it seems as if this haven - or sanctuary, is almost endless *s*
