The whisper of a memory glides delicately across the cobwebbed realm of my mind, just as the last of the sea breeze floats along the waves by twilight.
I glance at the ocean in the dying light of dusk, and it is enough to call forth a million memories. I am brought back into a world long gone, colored with delight, bittersweet and splendorous; for a moment, there is peace. Yet with this reminiscence of a time most beautiful, I feel more like a piece of crumbling parchment, torn to dust by time. Twilight Sentiments. . . . |
